XLPE are crosslinkable polyethylene based compounds.
Eurocompound produces two kind of XLPE:
- the first one with traditional Sioplas method (component A + component B where "A" is the graft component and "B" catalyzes the reticulation directly in the customer's extrusor);
- the second one with a reactive extrusion allowing to obtain the same reticulation grade by managing one component only.
- Specific gravity from 0,88 g/cc to 1,00 g/cc
- Temperature of service: from -40°C to 100°C
- Excellent resistence to chemical agents (hydrocarbon, petrol, oil, grease, etc)
- Colourable via masterbatch
- Transformation process: suitable both for extrusion and injection molding
- Storage: the product should be stored in a covered area and kept away from moisture and heat
