TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer): elastomer-based compounds very versitile, easy to process, with excellent elastic properties and which can be separated in two big families: thermoplastic and crosslinkable.
Our TPE can be provided:
- "halogenated": PVC is compounded with other technical polymers;
- "halogen free": without PVC and suitable for many different applications, this category is diversified depending on the different relationships between rigid and flexible phase.
- Hardness from ShA to 70 ShD
- Specific gravity from 0,8 g/cc to 1,40 g/cc
- Temperature of service: from -55°C to 120°C (depending on the kind of TPE)
- Good resistence to chemical agents (hydrocarbon, petrol, oil, grease, etc)
- Colourable via masterbatch
- Transformation process: suitable both for extrusion and injection molding
- Completely recyclable and reprocessable (thermoplastic TPE only)
- Storage: the product should be stored in a covered area and kept away from moisture and heat
